Steps for Students Who Plan to Pursue a Degree or Certificate at ESCC | Step 1 | Complete an Application for Admission | Our application form is online and you can complete it and submit it all online. If you are uncomfortable in completing an application form online, please contact the college for assistance. | Step 2 | Request Your Transcripts | - For Nursing and Medical Assistant Programs:
- Submit an official high school transcript or GED test scores.
- If you have attended other colleges:
- Contact the college(s) to request that official academic transcripts be sent to the ESCC Admissions Office. Please be aware that most schools will charge a fee for this service.
| Step 3 | Take Placement Tests* * Note: Students who have passed college-level English or math and received a grade of "C" or better may not need to take the placement tests. | New students seeking a degree or certificate must take placement tests in English, Reading, and Mathematics. The results of these tests help students and advisors determine an appropriate courses schedule. Students whose scores indicate specific weaknesses may be required to enroll in and successfully complete skills improvement courses prior to college-level work. |
